The Monarchy offers large beautiful butterflies as a unique and unparalleled alternative to confetti, rice, bird seed or balloons. Designated guests at your wedding will release the butterflies as you both come out after the ceremony. You will depart under a veil of fluttering beauties who will remain for just the right amount of time before they gently and majestically fly away! Some butterflies will linger for several minutes before departing. You and your guests will never forget the magical appearance of these distinguished and elegant creatures. Releasing butterflies at your nuptials will support efforts to replenish butterflies in the environment and reverse trends of disappearing species At The Monarchy, each butterfly is hand fed and raised in a protected environment, being cared for at each stage of its development. Prior to your wedding, each butterfly is placed in an individual envelope to be delivered one day before your event. You will also get an Native American legend where you whisper a wish to a butterfly to make it come true. Generally, butterflies can be released in your area during mid-spring through October or when daily temperatures are at least
65 degrees Fahrenheit. Advance notice of at least one month is desired to ensure availability.
If anyone desires a wish to come true, they must capture a butterfly and whisper that wish to it. Since they make no sound, they can't tell the wish to anyone but the Great Spirit. So by making the wish and releasing the butterfly, it will be taken to the heavens and be granted.
